Uncle Ricky Morris – Co Founder, Chairperson and Secretary

Uncle Ricky has a long and proud history working for and supporting Aboriginal people and promoting opportunities and programs that promote self-determination though his actions.
Uncle Ricky has been involved in key decisions and project delivery that have had long lasting impact for the Aboriginal communities he is involved with.
Key appointments and projects that Uncle Ricky has been involved with but not limited to are;

- Chairperson – Northeast Regional Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee
- Chairperson – Hume Regional Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee
- Member – Victorian Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee
- Project Manager – Wulgunggo Ngalu Learning Place – a residential program, which houses and supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men subject to Community Correction Orders from across Victoria.

Peter Hood – Treasurer

Peter is a Proud Kurnai, Yorta Yorta and Wurundjeri Man with connections to many clans and families here in the southeastern parts of this Country.
Peter is the Cultural Co-Facilitator at Victorian Aboriginal Community Services Association Limited (VACSAL) Registered Training Organisation.
Peter supports students and Community members in class across three certificates, the certificate IV in Community Services, the Diploma in Community Services and the Certificate IV in School Based Education Support. Prior to his role at the Victorian Aboriginal Community Services Association Limited Registered Training Organisation, Peter has worked as a Cultural Facilitator within schools for WANYARA and has worked in the youth well-being space on and off for close to 10 years.
Previously, Peter was the Koori Academy of Excellence (KAI) Facilitator at the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated (VAEAI). As the KAE Facilitator, Peter supports the statewide (KAE) program across four Department of Education areas.
Peter’s passion for facilitating and teaching Culture has led him to running his own art workshops for various Community programs as well as corporate services. Peter is currently a member of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee
(ACHAC) at Museums Victoria
Hayden Heta – Vice Chairperson

Hayden is a proud Aboriginal (Wiradjuri) and Māori (Ngapuhi) man.
Hayden has extensive knowledge of Aboriginal culture, communities and heritage, equally a clear understanding of needs and aspirations as they relate to community development , including employment and economic participation.
Hayden is the Managing Director of Wamarra

Prior to his role at Wamarra, Hayden was the Group Social and Indigenous Advisor for Civilex, Cultural Heritage Stakeholder Manager at Rail Projects Victoria, Aboriginal Community Development Broker for the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Aboriginal Inclusion Co-ordinator at Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
